Meet Adam. Neighbor and future business owner in Madison Square.
Adam Hoeksema is a Grand Rapids native who grew up on the Southeast side of Grand Rapids. As a current neighbor in Madison Square, he has been detailing cars since he was 17 years old. Today, Adam is a master detailer with proven expertise in the industry and a passion for the community.
With that work and the support of Spring GR, he started Shiny Diamond in 2019. Adam seeks to use his business focused on car detailing to bring vibrancy to the Madison Square Business District. In addition, he will be hosting food truck(s) on-site that he feels will, “bring warmth and community to the corner of Madison Ave. and Crofton St.”

Shiny Diamond will reflect the building’s original focus on automotive use, consistent with the building’s original design and placement, focused on cleanliness and community service. Shiny Diamond wants to use this opportunity to highlight other local businesses and stimulate broader economic growth in the area that he knows and loves.
