We Are Neighborhood Strong
Residents developed the Neighborhood Strong program as a resource for all families in the area with the ongoing support of Amplify GR and Home Repair Services.
This effort aims to keep residents in their homes, increase stability for families, provide funding for home repairs and reduce displacement in the community.
Homeowner Repair Grants
Owning and maintaining a home is an investment far beyond the point of purchase. Unexpected home repairs can be difficult, time-consuming and expensive. We’re here to help.
The Neighborhood Strong homeowner grant is provided through a partnership between Home Repair Services and Amplify GR. Is it time for a new roof? Do you need a new furnace for the winter?
The Neighborhood Strong Home Repair Grant is dependent on income and grants are provided with a 15%-25% copay by homeowners. Residents can receive up to $5,000 to make improvements inside and outside of the home.
Applications are now being accepted. For more information, please reach out to De’Andrea Taylor, your neighbor and housing specialist, at 616-241-2601 or dtaylor@homerepairservices.org.
