PUBLIC NOTICE: EPA Grant Application
1601 Madison LLC is applying for grant funds from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to help address contaminated soil at 1601 Madison. A copy of the Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) and the draft grant application are available for public viewing at www.amplifygr.org beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2020. A physical copy of the draft application can be made available at the Amplify GR Office (1480 Kalamazoo SE). Due to COVID-19, we ask that you contact AGR in advance at 616-279-3936 to review a physical copy of the draft application. Comments may be submitted in writing until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23. Submit comments to firstname.lastname@example.org. Comments can also be made in person at the public meetings described below.
1601 Madison LLC and Amplify GR will present a summary of the grant at the Madison Square Community Partners Meeting on Wednesday, October 21, at 11:30 a.m. on Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82601608974?pwd=Q0JTVVFTQyswa01RZkZVOENXYUJjdz09) and the Madison Square Business Association Meeting Tuesday, October 20 at 9:00 a.m. at 1501 Madison SE. At each of these public meetings, 1601 Madison LLC and Amplify GR will provide an opportunity for citizens to provide comments on the draft grant application.
